Funding

Wondering how to pay for your masters? We have a variety of scholarships and bursaries available, some of which are specifically for existing students and alumni.

Progression Scholarship

Supporting home students who want to stay at Queen Mary for their postgraduate degrees, these scholarships apply to all MSc degrees within the School of Economics and Finance (SEF) and MSc Risk Analytics in the School of Mathematical Sciences (SMS).

Alumni Loyalty Award

Open to all Queen Mary graduates enrolling on a postgraduate degree programme, except those on full scholarships, this award gives a discount on fees of £1000 or 10% discount, depending on the programme of study.

Masters Scholarships

A £4000 award to highly qualified postgraduate taught offer holders who meet the following criteria:

  • A home fee student who has previously been eligible for funding via the Student Loan Company
  • Have achieved, or is predicted to achieve, a high 2:1 or above at undergraduate level
  • Not previously completed a postgraduate programme
