Description

Generally, entrepreneurs are not lawyers, and may not know the full extent of the law. In fact, there are many legal considerations that impact start-up companies and entrepreneurs, particularly in the areas of business formation and structuring, employment and intellectual property protection.

  • Setting up a company: Is it required? When and how should an individual organise and structure their business?
  • Intellectual Property: What is IP? How is protected? IP as an asset.
  • Employment and interacting with third Parties: Brief overview of employment contracts (linking to ownership of IP).
