Over the course of my final year studying medicine, I founded The UltraLearn Project. UltraLearn is a student-led, clinician-supervised initiative focused on facilitating the learning of Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) to UK medical students. Our mission is to setup and support student-led communities for POCUS learning and education in medical schools across the UK. This journey started at Barts where to date over 30+ students meet weekly. Over the course of the term, I also collaborated with our physiology department to provide timetabled enrichment activities using POCUS to assist Year 1 MBBS students learning about cardiac physiology.
