Joost Hubbard

Joost Hubbard, School of Engineering and Materials Science

Over the summer, I worked with a team of students under Dr Angadh Nanjangud
to create interactive textbooks for the Computational and Symbolic Dynamics
modules taught within SEMS. As a contributor and reviewer, I focused on
ensuring the material was accessible and engaging. Being neurodiverse, I
recognise the importance of intuitive teaching methods for complex topics.
Through this project, I aimed to enhance learning by adding interactive elements,
helping to simplify challenging concepts and support diverse learning styles. This
project not only strengthened my technical and collaborative skills but also
deepened my commitment to inclusive and effective education in engineering.
