The Student Enquiry Centre will be closed from 3pm on 12th September 2024.

During the enrolment period, the Student Enquiry Centre will be dealing with an increased volume of enquiries. As a result, we will endeavour to respond to student enquiries within 3-5 working days. Please be aware our phonelines may be much busier than usual during the enrolment period. During Welcome Week and the first weeks of term, the Student Enquiry Centre will open at 9am.

Please note, for queries regarding QMPlus, online exams issues/ access or attendance, you would need to contact your Academic School. Unfortunately, we cannot advise on the admissions process. Please direct all Admissions related queries to your Applicant Portal.

The hours listed below are indicative of our standard opening and closing times, please see our 'Notices' tab for any changes to our normal service hours before making travel arrangements.

How we can help

The Student Enquiry Centre is the front face of Registry Services. We are here to assist Undergraduate and Postgraduate Taught students with any enquiries regarding Student Documentation, ID Cards, Bursaries, Exams and more.

Our in-person services include assisting with enquiries and helpcalls that may have been raised, providing physical and digital documentation as well as ID Cards, and helping to find the applicable contacts for your query. We can offer a number of our services remotely, so if you are unable to come in person or would prefer not to, please submit your enquiry online and we will respond to you as soon as we can. Details to do so can be found below.

Where to find us

The Student Enquiry Centre is located on Mile End Campus, in East London. We are located on the Ground Floor of iQ East Court (building 64 on the map below) Mile End Campus Map [PDF 954KB]

Nearest stations on the London Underground are Mile End on Hammersmith and City, District and Central lines; and Stepney Green on the Hammersmith and City and District lines. Transport for London publishes interactive maps showing Underground, Docklands Light Railway (DLR) and bus information.

The team in the Student Enquiry Centre will do their best to assist with any queries students have and will resolve these where possible. If your query does not fall within what we can assist with we will provide relevant information and onward contact details for relevant Queen Mary departments. Please note that we expect all students making use of our frontline services to comply with the Student Behaviour and Discipline [PDF 168KB], failure to abide by this code of conduct may result in the withdrawal of service and be met with an applicable penalty as detailed in the linked document.
