The Immigration Compliance team acts as your primary team contact regarding your immigration documentation, procedures, and more. Please note, the Immigration Compliance team cannot give you immigration advice or details on post-study visa planning, such as the graduate route or skilled worker visas. For this, please refer to the Advice and Counselling service who have trained immigration advisors on site.
As a student, you need to ensure that you hold valid immigration permission (visa) or have a status that allows you to undertake your programme of studies with us.
There are several options available. Whatever option you choose, please ensure your immigration permission or status permits you to undertake your programme of studies. You can undertake your programme of studies in the UK if you hold a Student Visa for your studies at Queen Mary.
If you are unsure which documents we may need while you are enrolled with us, or checks we may perform please see the relevant webpages. If you are unable to find an answer to your query, you can email immigrationcompliance@qmul.ac.uk. who will be able to respond as soon as possible.
If your situation is unusually complex or something has gone wrong, contact the Advice and Counselling Service, where qualified staff can advise.
