Your Studies at Queen Mary

Learn more about the different areas of your studies managed by Registry Services, and access details on our processes and guidance for each area.

What do we do?

Registry Services is home to a number of teams that play a pivotal role in your studies with us, from managing your documentation with us, your exam, to maintaining your record and subsequent award. We have two main frontline services for students, separated by level of study between the Student Enquiry Centre (Undergraduate/ Postgraduate Students) and the Research Degrees Office (Postgraduate research Students). Below you can explore the areas we manage or play a role in, with background information, guidance and contact information provided for each team.

Please note: Registry Services does not manage the administering of your programme material itself, curriculum, teaching timetable formulation or issues you may have with a particular modules structure. If you need help in any of these areas, speak to your Academic Department, who can be found within your School's administration office.

Additional support

If, during your studies, you need additional support, your Academic School will have dedicated student support officers who are trained to assist in multiple areas, and are able to advise on the academic policy and processes of your department. Should you need more tailored emotional support, you may contact the Advice and Counselling Service at your discretion.

Contact information

Find the full list of Registry Services contact information within our Contact Directory,. We provide an overview of each team's responsibilities and contact information. Keep in mind that the contacts listed are not responsible for the delivery of your teaching or curriculum, as this falls under the responsibility of your Academic Department.

Student support officers

If you need support regarding your studies, your course, or a change in circumstances, you should contact the student support officers within your academic department in the first instance.
