Staff Timetabling Support

This webpage applies to timetabling staff, and will outline how user accounts are build for MyTimetable and further information on the  Scientia portal where timetabling is administered for Queen Mary.

How to obtain a user account for MyTimetable

The new user requires approval from the person who is responsible for the administration of the teaching timetable for your school, department, institute or centre. The timetabler can then send the new user's name and College ID to timetabling@qmul.ac.uk. We will create a user account, and once we have arranged for any new user to undertake some introductory training on the system, we will activate the account for use.

For Scientia users at Queen Mary there is a Timetabling Forum on Microsoft Teams, which our team will invite you to join.  This is where you can find useful information such as the timetabling timeline and training guides, and provides a forum for you to communicate with colleagues in other Schools, as well as the Timetabling Support Team.

An explanation for students of the abbreviations used in myTimetable for various buildings at Mile End can be found on the Student Experience directorate web pages
