Partnerships
The Business Development Office provides access to Queen Mary University of London cutting-edge capabilities and state-of–the-art facilities. Our team of Business Development Managers will identify relevant academic expertise to meet your commercial requirements through collaborative research, contract research and consultancy.
Queen Mary Innovation
Support for commercialisation and licensing is managed by the independent company Queen Mary Innovation (QMI). We are keen to expand the development of new spin-outs and licensing activities.
Public engagement
The Centre for Public Engagement was set up in 2012 as part of a RCUK 'Catalyst' award, with the aim to embed and sustain public engagement within Queen Mary. We aim to build on our strong history of public engagement to help support all our staff in developing new activity and sustaining and strengthening existing projects.
The Centre for Public Engagement has four main staff members, and is supported and guided by steering committees both at a faculty and institutional level.
Policy engagement
The Mile End Institute (MEI) brings together politicians, policymakers, the Queen Mary community, and the public to debate the major challenges facing East London and the UK. Through our new Policy@QMUL initiative and development of policy engagement training, seminars, events and resources, we aim to support staff and students to generate policy impact.
