The work of Dr Chris Faulkes from SBCS appears in an extensive article in Le Monde on mole-rats, the small rodent that is highly sociable, resistant to cancer and lives to an unusually old-age. Journalists from the newspaper visited the mole-rat labs at Queen Mary to view the animals that Dr Faulkes has spent more than twenty years studying.
