Alexandra is a London Interdisciplinary Social Sciences Research Fellow working in Alex Mielke’s lab. Her research looks into the presence of human-typical linguistic patterns in the gestural communication of apes and children. By implementing new linguistic approaches to human and animal communication, she aims to deepen our understanding of how human languages have evolved to become such an efficient communicative mean.
