Organisational governance and accountability in the anthropocene

Abstract

There is a suggestion that we are now living in the Anthropocene (an era in which “human actions have become the main driver of global environmental change” - Rockstrom et al., 2009, p. 472). All disciplines are likely to have to adapt their intellectual, policy and practice aspirations in light of this.  The presentation starts to sketch what this might look like for business and management studies.
