Profile

Dr Nadia Zahoor is a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Strategy. Prior to joining Queen Mary University of London, she was a faculty member at the University of Strathclyde, the University of Central Lancashire, and the University of Huddersfield. She has a PhD in Management from the Huddersfield Business School, University of Huddersfield. She also holds an MBA (distinction) degree in International Business from the University of Greenwich Business School.

Nadia’s research focuses on two interrelated areas of international strategy and entrepreneurship. First, she studies the dynamics of alliance networks by SMEs. She is interested in investigating how alliance networks are formed and managed. Second, her research relates to the creation of value in SMEs. She studies how alliance networks allow SMEs to achieve sustainability, innovation and internationalisation.

Her research, teaching, and enterprise activities have been supported by grants from research institutions and funding bodies totalling more than £48,000. She sits on the editorial board of the Journal of Asia Business Studies.

Her work has appeared in some of the leading strategy, international business and interdisciplinary business management journals, including: the British Journal of Management, International Journal of Management Reviews, International Small Business Journal, Journal of Business Research, Asia Pacific Journal of Management, International Business Review, Journal of International Management, International Marketing Review, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, among others.
