Which programmes do you offer at the School of Business and Management?

The School offers a range of courses under Accounting, Business Management, Heritage and Arts Industries and Marketing subject areas. You can view the programmes on our website including the course content, entry requirements and teaching information.

What are your entry requirements?

The School of Business and Management accepts a wide range of qualifications and the following information should be read in conjunction with the information for each course:

  • Minimum 2:1 in UK undergraduate degree or equivalent
  • English language qualification, if applicable

The School also welcomes applications from students who have completed a pre-masters programme and from those who are holding international qualifications.

Do you require GMAT?

No, GMAT is not required for any of the programmes under the School of Business and Management.

How do I apply?

You can apply for all of our postgraduate programmes on the ‘Application’ section of our course web pages. The following documents are required:

  • Completed application form
  • Degree transcripts
  • Referee details
  • Statement of purpose
  • Curriculum vitae (CV)
  • Valid English language certificate (if applicable)

Is there a deadline for receipt of applications?

Application deadlines are typically published on the individual programme webpage. For postgraduate programmes, you should also check the key dates and deadlines listed on the website.

Is there an application fee?

No, there is no application fee for postgraduate applications.

Can I apply for more than one course at QMUL and how do I do this?

Yes, you can apply for more than one course. However, please be aware that you can only accept one offer by the acceptance date stated on your offer letter.

Do you interview your students?

We don’t conduct interviews for our courses.

What should I include in my statement of purpose and can you check any drafts?

Your statement of purpose is an important component of your application and it is your opportunity to introduce yourself to Queen Mary. We cannot provide feedback or advice on any drafts sent to us. The statement should explain why you want to study your chosen programme and how it will help your future career aspirations.

Do I need to have studied a related course?

This depends on which specific course you are applying for. We welcome applications from all degree backgrounds, but you are encouraged to check the ‘Entry Requirements’ section of the specific course you are applying for.

Are there any scholarships available?

There are a number of scholarships and bursaries available at Queen Mary. Please note that eligibility criteria applies and if you are successful, the scholarship cannot be deferred. Please visit our Scholarships page for more information.
