GDP Growth projected to be 1.9% and RPI Inflation 1.3% in 2016 by CReMFi

Published:

The CReMFi centre produces quarterly forecasts for the UK economy using a wide range of econometric models. The main feature of these forecasts is that they are purely statistical and largely free from judgement and thus provide a 'machine based' outlook for the UK economy.

Our latest forecasts suggest that on average across 15 econometric models, UK GDP growth is projected to be 1.9% in 2016, while RPI inflation is forecast to be 1.3% in 2016. Detailed results can be found on the main forecast page. Historical forecasts for a number of countries and details on the econometric models are available here.
