The School of Languages, Linguistics and Film at Queen Mary, University of London is happy to announce the Jill Forbes MA Bursary for students in Comparative Literature with French OR Film Studies with French.
Thanks to the generosity of the late Jill Forbes - a former chair of French at Queen Mary, and a leading figure in French studies both nationally and internationally - we are able to support a full-time UK or EU MA student specializing in a field relating to French studies, through a fee bursary for the academic year 2017/18 (value £8200).

Applicants are invited to submit a short dissertation research proposal (no more than 300 words in English or French) and a covering letter together with their application.
If eligible candidates have already submitted an application to the MA programme in Comparative Literature or Film Studies and wish to apply for the bursary, they should submit a dissertation proposal and covering letter directly to Dr. Shital Pravinchandra: s.pravinchandra@qmul.ac.uk (for Comparative Literature) or Dr. Jenny Chamarette: j.chamarette@qmul.ac.uk (for Film Studies)
Applications may be made via the taught postgraduate course finder here (Comparative Literature) or here (Film Studies)
