On this day something remarkable happened: a youngster of nineteen years of age revealed to her family that she was gay. Soon after, conflicts arose and she was expelled from her family home. However, amongst her family, an aunt supported her nephew and allowed her to stay at her house. Her suffering was alleviated by her aunt’s support. Her parent, however, did not accept her relationship with her girlfriend. After a year, the two decided to build a home together. Now the girl's mother lives in another state, in Paraná. As she was missing her family, the girl decides to visit them. Her mother's reaction upon seeing her daughter again was that of little acceptance. She opened her door to her, yet did not entirely accept the situation. Today, the young girl is in her second homosexual relationship and with her current partner has a child aged six. Her parents have yet to accept her; still, she does not let this get in the way of her happiness.
