Landless Voices II

The difficult dialogue on gender inequalities

You're in the discussion at school, but when you get home you cannot openly discuss it with your parents. The father will not help at home and will look at me with an ugly face and say, 'Damn, I've been working all day and I'm supporting you.' Then you say that mother does the same thing. Even they being exploited, they cannot discuss this within the family. It is very difficult, you cannot discuss with your child what is happening. To discuss out there with the teachers it much easier.
