Women on the move
We combat the work that is standardized
Where the woman is humiliated
And the man, exalted.
We defend work as an educational principle
Overcoming the oppressive forces.
These are black, white and mulatto women
Poor or abandoned
That in life and in work are discriminated.
We are not helpers
In the work of the field,
In the tidied house and
In the educated child
We are women on the move.
In the struggle for livelihood
In the search for recognition.
Poem composed by the teachers Joélia Cordeiro Godoi, Marcos Henrique Freitas, Marli Aparecida Poli.
