Profile

Dr. Qianqian Chai is a Lecturer in Business Management, specializing in both Business Management and Marketing. As a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, she is dedicated to student-centered pedagogy and is passionate about developing interactive teaching and learning strategies. Qian is committed to enhancing student engagement and actively seeks innovative ways to enrich her teaching methods.

Research:


Qian’s early research focused on recruitment practices in the Hong Kong Colonial Government before World War II. She has since broadened her research interests to include cross-cultural studies, examining social and historical contexts. Since joining QMUL, she has also engaged in pedagogical research, particularly focusing on assessment redesign to improve student engagement, motivation, and employability.
