Dr Rachel Randall's video essay shortlisted for BAFTSS
A video essay co-authored by Dr Rachel Randall has been shortlisted for a Practice Based Research award in the category of Best Videographic Criticism by the British Association of Film, Television and Screen Studies (BAFTSS).

The video essay is entitled: "Pausas | Pauses" and is co-authored with Professor Catherine Grant. It draws on seven contemporary Latin American films featuring women protagonists who undertake paid domestic or cleaning work. Details of shortlisted works are available on the BAFTSS website and winners will be announced at the BAFTSS conference at the end of March 2025. "Pausas" has also been accepted for publication in the journal [in]Transition and will appear there before the end of 2025.
