Profile

Rosine has a BA from the University of Colorado, in French and Russian Languages and Literature. She then acquired a CELTA in New York in 1994 before emigrating to Europe to teach English as a Foreign Language to Adults. She taught in Marseille, France for a year before moving to London , where she worked for many years teaching English to international students at Frances King School of English. In 2000 she studied for the Diploma in English Language Teaching to Adults (DELTA) from King's College London. She then taught ESOL at Hackney Community College for a year, before moving into English for Academic Purposes at Middlesex University and Roehampton University. Rosine joined the Language Centre at QMUL in 2005 as a Teaching Fellow on the IFP, Insessional Programme and Presessional Programme. She subsequently moved into administration.After leading the Admin Team for the Language Centre for 7 years, she took on the newly created role of Student Experience Manager for the whole School of Languages, Linguistics and Film in March 2013.
