GWI Lectures

The Gravitational Wave Initiative at Queen Mary will host its first series of GWI lectures on 29-30 May 2024.

These are aimed at all PhD students, postdocs and other newcomers to the field: there is no registration and all are welcome to attend.

The lectures will be followed by the London Institute of Cosmology's next LCDM meeting on 30 May.

Mark Hannam (Cardiff University)            Numerical relativity and waveform modelling

Rachel Gray (University of Glasgow)        Gravitational wave cosmology

Lionel London (King's College London)    Black hole perturbation theory

 

 

Location

Talks will be held in the main Maths Lecture Theatre in the School of Mathematical Sciences at QMUL, with coffee and refreshments served in the Social Hub in the basement of the same building. The address is:
