First-Year Chemistry Students Shine in Sustainability Presentations
On Thursday 6th March, first-year and associate students in the School of Physical and Chemical Sciences showcased their knowledge, creativity, and commitment to sustainability during a dynamic programme-level group assessment. This exercise formed part of the coursework for CHE102B, CHE108, and CHE114 modules and reflected the department’s strong emphasis on integrating global challenges into the curriculum.

Well done to all the Y1 and Associate students who made impressive presentations on a range of sustainability topics on Thursday 6th March as part of the Y1 programme-level assessment that contributes to the CHE102B, CHE108 and CHE114 modules.

These presentations not only reflected strong scientific understanding, but also a commitment to tackling real-world environmental challenges through chemistry. The department commends all students and advisors for their hard work and creativity.
