Postdoc Appreciation Week 2024: Celebrating Our Postdoctoral Researchers

This week, Dr. Alena Vdovchenko, a Postdoctoral Research Assistant in the School of Physical and Chemical Sciences, alongside her dedicated colleagues are spotlighted.

Dr. Vdovchenko's current research focuses on the impact of plastic pollution and microplastics on human health, addressing critical environmental challenges that align with the University’s Strategy 2030. Her work not only advances knowledge in this important area but also contributes to mentorship, fostering the development of the next generation of researchers.

We celebrate all our postdocs this week, including Dr. Christopher Archibald and Dr. Yasmin Al-Sayed, who are also making significant strides in their respective fields.

For more stories and events celebrating our postdocs, visit the Postdoc Appreciation Week webpage.
