University Mental Health Day

Join us on 14th March from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Library Square for a fun and interactive event to mark University Mental Health Day! Whether you're looking for information, ways to de-stress, or just want to connect with others, we have something for you.

Activities:

  • Mental Health Treasure Hunt: Explore Mile End campus while following clues, gathering information, and decoding a puzzle.
  • Freebies Galore: Grab some delicious treats.
  • Positive Affirmation Station: Share positivity by picking a pre-written affirmation, or write your own and add it to our growing collection.
  • Let's Talk Booth: Need someone to listen? Our friendly volunteers are here to offer a safe space to talk about anything that's on your mind.
  • Wellness Trail: Unleash your creativity with plant pot painting, photo frame decoration, and door hanger design. ️
  • Mindfulness Practice: Take a moment to relax and de-stress with guided mindfulness activities.

Share Your Thoughts:

We'll also be asking participants three questions about mental health and your personal practices. Your valuable insights will help us continue to build a supportive and mindful campus community. ️

Don't miss out on this opportunity to:

  • Learn about mental health and wellbeing resources available on campus.
  • Connect with fellow students and staff.
  • Engage in fun and creative activities.
  • Take steps towards prioritising your mental health.

Timetable:

11:30am - 2pm: DDS Campus Treasure Hunt
1:30pm - 2pm: Mindfulness Practise (St Benet's Chaplaincy)
1pm - 3pm: Decorations of Plant Pots, Door Hangers and Photo frames to take away
