Intro text
This large blue copy is the intro text content type. Intro text is used to add a page description when not using a webpage banner and helps boost your search engine optimisation (SEO). If you are not using a banner, you should add intro text instead.
Intro text will always appear at the top of the page, no matter how you order your content.
Steps
Step one - Add the content type
Add the content type by clicking on the '+ add content' button. If it doesn't appear for you, email websupport@qmul.ac.uk.
Step two - Add your text
Add your description sentence to the text box as shown in the image. Don't adjust the format using the toolbar as it's important to keep the text as it is.
Step three - Publishing your content
Once the content is saved and approved, publish the section and the parent section it sits within.
