Stat

Use this content type to promote statistics or facts on your pages. Adding stats can be a great way of catching the attention of your users and breaking up content.

Example

In the below examples, you can each of the three text sections use different font sizes (going from large to small). Only use one or two font sizes instead of all three, and you must keep the text very short - especially the top line with the largest font.

You can choose whether to give the stat a transparent background or a solid background in jade, purple or orange.

Steps

Step one - Create the content type

  1. Create the stat content type by pressing the green '+ Add content' button.
  2. Select 'stat' in the content type list. If it is not there, type 'stat' in the content type search bar and it should appear.

Step two - Fill in all the asterisked fields

  1. Fill in the name.
  2. Fill in the heading, subheading and copy.
  3. After clicking on the 'type' window, choose your background (transparent as the default, jade, orange or purple)
  4. You have the option to include an image, but only use an image with a transparent background, otherwise, the edges of the photo will be visible. For example, you can show an image of a logo with a transparent background.
  5. In the 'align' section, select whether you would like it to be left or right-aligned on the page.

Step three - Publish your content

  1. Click the small down arrow next to 'Save changes' so it opens a small window.
  2. Click 'Save and approve'.
  3. Publish the header banner itself and the (child) section it sits within to make sure it is published.
