On Tuesday 19th December, we upgraded QMplus Hub (Mahara) from version 21.10.1 to 22.10.0
This brought bug fixes and new features. You can find out more on the Mahara website, and in this article we've highlighted some of the new features our users may find interesting.
We are also running 30-minute sessions in the new year designed to showcase changes and new features. The session will also include a demo of the Graduate Attributes tool. To book a place, please visit the QMplus Hub - Workshops and Resources page on the CPD Training site.
Collection and pages are now referred to as portfolios. The concepts of a page and collection remain in place but "portfolios" is used to emphasise the content rather than the functionality.
When adding a new image to your portfolio, you can now differentiate between alt text and image caption. You can also decide whether your image is decorative or not. This will allow for improved accessibility.
The quick edit option is now available on pdfblocks, file blocks and course completion blocks. The content of these blocks can now be edited without entering the edit mode which will help prevent accidental block deletion or moving blocks.
The education and employment history tabs have been separated to make the drag and drop of files more manageable.
There is now a switch and more text which accompanies the sign-off option on a page. It has been changed to make it more apparent that an action needs to be taken.
