TELT is excited to announce a series of upcoming workshops designed to enhance your skills and understanding of our supported systems. These friendly sessions will provide valuable insights and practical knowledge to help you make the most of our educational technologies. Here’s a quick overview of what’s coming up:
ITS have simplified six of the teaching spaces and updated some of the features. This is to streamline the process of setting up the AV equipment to teach and to extend the technical abilities of the teaching equipment. If you are timetabled to teach in any of the rooms listed, please book into the relevant session. You will be shown the changes that have been implemented, how to teach in Mixed Mode Education more easily, and how to use the digital whiteboard and how this can benefit teaching and learning. There will be opportunity, time permitting, to have a have a hands on try of the new setup.
We encourage you to bring your laptop/tablet capable of joining a Teams meeting with you to demonstrate some of the benefits of the new features.
Please note there is a minimum requirement of 6 attendees per session. If there are less than 6 bookings we may ask you to move to a different session.
Further information and to book on please visit the CPD site for enrolment methods.
Do you teach or present in the lecture spaces at the University?
If you do and want to know more about the AV systems and how to use them then please sign up for this informative session led by our technical support team. They will introduce all the types of technology used across the campuses and answer any questions you may have. We will also be covering aspects of the new MME teaching facilities, and there will also be a brief overview of the Q-Review lecture capture system. If time allows there will be an opportunity to have a hands-on try of the facilities in the lecture theatre and a Q&A session.
