What Will Happen to My Zoom Recordings and the Zoom integration with QMplus?
As Zoom is being decommissioned on 31st July 2025, you may have questions about what will happen to your Zoom recordings and the Zoom integration with QMplus.

Zoom is currently integrated with QMplus Media (Kaltura), which means all cloud recordings are automatically transferred to your QMplus Media account. Even after Zoom is no longer available, you will still have access to these recordings.
If you have been using the Zoom integration with QMplus, you may be concerned about what will happen to the meeting links and recordings stored there. Since this tool is directly connected to Zoom, it will no longer function after Zoom is decommissioned. This primarily affects students who may want to access archived recordings from previous years, as all online teaching from the 2025/26 academic year onwards will take place on Microsoft Teams. To keep recordings available for students in the QMplus archive, you will need to add them to the module's media gallery.
