Zoom Decommissioning (& MS Teams Training)
A reminder that Queen Mary University’s license for Zoom will not be renewed from 31 July 2025, and we will transition exclusively to Microsoft Teams for all University activities after this date.
You may continue using Zoom throughout the 2024/25 academic year, but we encourage you to begin transitioning to MS Teams now. For more details on the transition, please refer to our FAQs. If you need assistance, please find our user guides for MS Teams in Teaching, and the Technology Enhanced Learning Team are offering MS Teams training in March and April 2025, covering essential best practices, including:
- Setting up and managing Teams meetings for teaching
- Recording sessions and sharing links with students
- Using key functionalities to enhance engagement
