Be the next one to help the hungry through marketing

Our students have teamed up with The Trussell Trust – using their marketing acumen to ensure a further two million UK people in need can be fed. Study with us and you could be the next one to help the hungry.

Why Marketing at Queen Mary?

As a Russell Group university with a difference, our marketing students graduate with a wealth of knowledge and variety of career pathways.

Our BSc in Marketing and Management will equip you with a comprehensive foundation in marketing and analytical skills that enable you to think critically and make strategic decisions. It will challenge your preconceived ideas and provoke you to consider forward-thinking strategies and cutting-edge business practices.

You’ll learn the essential principles of marketing and management in your first year and progress to more intensive studies of specialised areas like advertising, consumer psychology, services marketing, brand management, market analytics and digital marketing in your second and third years.

Quick facts

  • The School of Business and Management has collaborated with The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM). The modules you study as part of the BSc Marketing and Management give exemptions towards the CIM Certificate and CIM Diploma in Professional Marketing. You then take one or two CIM modules (for the certificate and diploma respectively) after graduation to complete the CIM qualifications.
  • You will have access to first-class lecturers whose teaching is underpinned by the values of social justice, sustainability and good governance.
  • Our dedicated careers team will provide you with core skills and career insights so that you can apply for internships and network with future employers.

Student stories

Studying at Queen Mary opened doors for former Business Management student Sandeep Saib.

This course was instrumental for my career; not only did it give me an understanding of marketing processes, it also allowed me to creatively employ my fundamental knowledge in fun and creative ways.
— Remmy Matthew Ddungu, BSc Marketing and Management (2018)
