Mason Lecture Theatre

A spacious and tiered-seating lecture room that accommodates a large audience, ensuring clear sightlines for everyone. It is easily accessible and also near breakout rooms including the interconnecting Rooms 1.13/1.13a and Room 1.15.

The Mason Lecture Theatre is ideal for a variety of events from academic lectures and public talks to film screenings and panel discussions.

Equipped with cutting-edge audio-visual technology, including high-definition projectors, multiple screens, and a comprehensive sound system, the venue supports dynamic and engaging presentations for up to 280 delegates.

David Sizer Lecture Theatre

An accessible and spacious, tiered-seated lecture room outfitted with the latest in audio-visual technology including high-definition projectors, multiple large screens, and an integrated sound system. 

Guests can enjoy colourful, comfortable and ergonomically designed seating, ensuring it meets the needs of all your guests.

It's ideal for multimedia presentations, interactive sessions, workshops and conferences for up to 106 delegates.

Bancroft Foyer

Recently refurbished, it has had tens of thousands of esteemed guests and participants pass through its' doors with many returning again.

Perfect as part of a corporate conference event, the Bancroft Foyer provides the ideal setting for your event registrations and drink receptions with a capacity of 50 guests.

Rooms 1.13 & 1.13a

Situated opposite the Mason Lecture, these two interconnecting rooms boast of the largest flat floor space on the Mile End campus.

Joining together to become one venue, Room 1.13 and Room 1.13a has natural daylight that streams across the room and stands as a versatile space; transforming from a seated classroom for 110 attendees, to a cultured exhibition space for 220, a mellow cabaret event for 60 people and a classic boardroom meeting for 44 people. 

When further combined with Room 1.15 next door, you are guaranteed a greater capacity and guests of up to 350.

A grand capacity of 350

Room 1.15 plays a pivotal role in the Bancroft building with an offering of 84 distinguished guests seated cabaret style. Recently renovated, the space could also be transformed into a proficient reception venue. Combined with Room 1.13 and Room 1.13a, 350 attendees are sure to enjoy each others company and network with ease.

Seminar rooms

We have an extensive range of rooms within the Bancroft building that act as supporting rooms for your conferences and large scale events as well as private meetings. The various room layouts available include Boardroom style, Classroom, Cabaret, Theatre, Reception and even Exam. 

Each room is well equipped with the fundamental AV facilities which include a teaching desk, PC, data projector, screen, whiteboard, and HDMI/VGA laptop inputs.
