A short distance from Bancroft road is the eclectic Maths Building
Refurbished in 2019 following a substantial £18m investment, this venue provides state-of-the-art research, teaching and study spaces.
The new lecture theatre seats up to 144 guests and is surrounded by high-quality teaching rooms, a new IT lab fitted with 42 durable computers and complimented by the post graduate research office.
Open to hire for your special events, the Maths building is an inspiring and collaborative space for our community of students and staff.

Maths Lecture Theatre
The Maths Lecture Theatre is sure to capture the imagination of all guests with the unique and eye catching ceiling. The curves and grooves represent the intense mental exercise each guests embarks on whenever they step in.
144 attendees are guaranteed a fixed seat in the modern venue and all are promised to experience the excellent performance of the state of the art audio visual equipment.
Seminar Rooms
We have an extensive range of rooms within the Maths building that act as supporting rooms for your conferences and large scale events as well as private meetings. The various room layouts available include Boardroom style, Classroom, Cabaret, Theatre, Reception and even Exam.
Each room is well equipped with the fundamental AV facilities which include a teaching desk, PC, data projector, screen, whiteboard, and HDMI/VGA laptop inputs.
