Morris Lecture Theatre

A premier facility designed to support high-quality events.

Situated within the university’s vibrant campus, the theatre provides a conducive environment for learning and intellectual exchange.

It is equipped with advanced audiovisual technology which includes high-definition projectors, large screens, and an excellent sound system, ensuring that presentations are clear and engaging. Wireless microphones and assistive listening devices are also available to enhance accessibility and communication.

The theatre boasts comfortable, ergonomically designed seating to accommodate 215 attendees. The tiered seating arrangement ensures unobstructed views of the speaker and presentation materials, fostering an optimal learning environment.

Patterson Ross Lecture Theatre

The Patterson Ross Lecture Theatre has a capacity of 60 guests with fixed seating. Although considerably smaller in size to its' sister venue, Morris Lecture Theatre, it offers the same excellence in advanced Audio Visual facilities. This includes a teaching desk, 2 data projectors, DVD, VHS, visualiser, PC, PA, 2 screens and 3 whiteboards.

This proficient venue, a part of the West Smithfield family of venues and is perfect for your meetings, teachings and smaller conferences. This lecture theatre can confidently be booked as a plenary room for your exclusive conference.

Seminar Rooms

We have an extensive range of rooms that act as supporting rooms for your conferences and large scale events as well as private meetings. The various room layouts available include Boardroom style, Classroom, Cabaret, Theatre, Reception and even Exam.

Each room is well equipped with the fundamental AV facilities which include a teaching desk, PC, data projector, screen, whiteboard, and HDMI/VGA laptop inputs.
