The WHRI has an established track record in investigations of cellular and molecular events within the microcirculation under both physiological and pathological conditions. A significant component of this work includes internationally recognised works in the field of leukocyte trafficking as conducted in the Centre for Microvascular Research, and in line with our leadership in the field of resolution of inflammation, there is strong interest on endogenous mechanisms that suppress cell migration (Centre for Biochemical Pharmacology).
