Postgraduate Taught Programmes


As part of the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at Queen Mary University of London, we offer a range of full-time, part-time, and distance learning programmes at Postgraduate Taught level. Our students significantly benefit from our strong clinical links to cardiology, renal medicine, critical care, anaesthesia, rheumatology and clinical endocrinology within Barts Health NHS Trust, as well as our close links with Genomics England.

The Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry’s research outputs and research impact performance were assessed as internationally excellent in the 2021 Research Excellence Framework. In Clinical Medicine 87% of outputs were ranked as internationally excellent or world-leading (3*-4*); and in Public Health, Health Services and Primary Care 89% of outputs ranked 3*-4*. In the QS World University Rankings 2022, Queen Mary was ranked joint 16th in the world for research citations in Medicine (citations per paper).
