Population precision health

Delivering population-based precision health

The focus of this theme is to improve our ability to deliver the right intervention at the right time to the right population.

We use multimodal data and methods, from health and social data and -omics, to improve risk prediction, stratification prevention and treatment to populations at the greatest need. Our team has specific academic and clinical skills in cardiometabolic disease and multimorbidity. We have particular expertise in applying precision health to diverse and underrepresented populations.

This theme leverages on:

  • Our leadership of Genes & Health with Blizard Institute
  • Our leadership of Barts Charity Population Precision Health Group together with Barts Cancer Institute
  • Our access to population level multimodal health and social care data
