Profile

I am a health economist with the Health Economics and Policy Research Unit (HEPRU) at the Wolfson Institute of Population Health, Queen Mary University of London (QMUL). I hold honorary academic positions at both the University of Cambridge and Imperial College London and joined QMUL in 2024 as a senior health economist, bringing experience from my previous roles at these institutions. With a strong background in health economics and health services research, I have contributed to international organizations, including the International Labour Organization (ILO) in Geneva and the International Vaccine Institute (IVI) in Seoul, and have worked in consultancy within health economics and policy. I earned my PhD in Health Economics from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) and an MSc in Health Policy, Planning, and Financing from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

At WIPU, I lead projects focused on assessing the cost-effectiveness of health innovations, including pharmaceuticals, diagnostics and care pathways in primary and secondary healthcare, aimed at facilitating their integration and adoption into the UK National Health Services. My work encompasses all stages of study design—collecting health economic data from patients alongside clinical trials—and extends through data analysis, synthesis, and linkage with external datasets.
