Profile

I am an Academic Clinical Fellow based in the Unit for Psychological Medicine in the Centre of Psychiatry and Mental Health. I have a particular interest in improving healthcare services for unrepresented groups, particularly patients with mental illnesses and difficulties in accessing physical health care.

I attended the University of Aberdeen where I studied medicine and was supported to take an extra year to complete a BMedSci. During my studies, I was given opportunities to learn a wide range of techniques, but I have recently discovered my passion for working directly with patients.

My current research focuses on the mental health sequelae of Parkinson’s disease such as mood disturbance, cognitive impairment and psychotic symptoms.
