Profile

I am a PhD student in Health Economics and Policy Research Unit (HEPRU) at Centre for Evaluation and Methods (CEM). I am studying the methods of health economic evaluation of Digital Health Interventions and am doing a case study on ATLAS pathway at Barts NHS Trust. 
My research interests are cardiovascular diseases, musculoskeletal diseases, health inequalities, ethnic disparities in health, mental health and rehabilitation.
I completed an M.Res. in Health Data in Practice in 2022 at QMUL as part of my 4-year PhD program funded by Welcome Trust. My M.Res. dissertation involved modelling the impact of Cardiovascular Events – Stroke, Myocardial Infarction and Coronary Revascularisation events, on Health-related Quality of Life in R program using Electronic Health Records (EHR) linked UKBiobank data. In 2020, I completed an MSc in Clinical Research from University of East Anglia (UEA), Norwich where I performed a Systematic Review of psychometric properties of Fugl-Meyer Assessment (FMA) scale for Stroke survivors as part of my dissertation. My undergrad training is in Physiotherapy and I have practiced as a physiotherapist in Kashmir (2021) and Bangalore-India (2019).
