Profile

I am a Research Assistant at the Unit for Social and Community Psychiatry, a World Health Organisation Collaborating Centre part of the East London NHS Foundation Trust. Working on Remote DIALOG+, co-leading a feasibility trial to test the remote delivery of this mental health intervention with patients and clinicians.

I completed a BSc in Biochemical Engineering at the University College London and a MSc in Global Health at Karolinska Insitutet, Sweden. I have worked on a range of sexual health and e-health projects such as the Safetxt Trial, a large (3000+) randomised controlled trial of an intervention delivered by mobile phone messaging to reduce STIs by increasing sexual health precaution behaviours in young people in England and Wales. Previously, I was a research assistant on the MeSH Consortium at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine to improve HIV surveillance systems and maximise the potential of routinely collected HIV surveillance data with partners in Zimbabwe, Malawi and South Africa. I am particularly interested in the application of digital and e-health initiatives to improve the health of marginalised communities.
