Chinese delegation from Guangdong IP Protection Centre visits the Queen Mary Intellectual Property Research Institute

A high-level delegation of Chinese experts from the Guangdong Intellectual Property Protection Centre visited the Centre for Commercial Law Studies (CCLS) on Monday 21 October for a meeting at the Queen Mary Intellectual Property Research Institute (QMIPRI).

The delegation, led by Deputy Director General Mr Liu Jianxin and Mr Wang Xianfeng, Deputy Director of the Commercialization and Promotion Department, met with QMIPRI Directors Professor Noam Shemtov and Professor Duncan Matthews, together with CCLS colleagues Dr Guan H Tang, Ms Zhirou Li and Ms Jiahui Chen, to discuss common interests in IP law and practice.

The visit continued QMIPRI’s long association with the IP community in China, including the QMIPRI training programme with the China National Intellectual Property Administration which began in 2015.
