Dr Falco Pfalzgraf organised and led the International Conference “Language and Gender: Achieving Conceptual Clarity”
In total, 137 participants registered for the conference. They were based in in 39 countries.

Selected academics presented papers, with other interested academics and practitioners joining as “attending only”, to participate in discussions, etc. On this workshop, we specifically dealt with unclear and overlapping use of terms such as “gender-inclusive”, “gender-fair”, “gender-neutral”, etc. in various disciplines and languages. The aim of the conference / workshop was to gain conceptually clarity; ideally standardisation.
