He completed his chemistry and medical degrees at the University of Oxford prior to undertaking his clinical cardiology training in London. His research background includes molecular biology (Oxford, Prof C Schofield) and genetic immunology (London, Prof F Brennan). He was previously an Academic Clinical Fellow at University College London (UCL) before joining QMUL for his BHF funded PhD in cardioimmunology.ResearchGroup membersDr Harding is currently part of the Professor Marelli-Berg laboratory. SummaryOur research focuses on the role of the immune system in inflammatory cardiovascular disease. We have a clinical interest in dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM), acute myocarditis and infective endocarditis. We are also exploring the immune response to cardiogenic shock.
